There are helpful tips to adjust your web browser to make your web experience more accessible.

Customize Browser Settings

  • Zoom and text size: Adjust the zoom level (Ctrl + “+” or “-”) or increase the default font size in your browser settings.
  • High contrast mode: Enable high contrast or dark mode for better visibility.
    • In Windows: Settings > Ease of Access > High contrast.
    • In macOS: System Preferences > Accessibility > Display.
  • Reader mode: Many browsers, like Firefox and Safari, have a “reader view” to simplify web pages.

Accessibility shortcuts:

  • Windows: Windows + U opens Accessibility settings.
  • Mac: Option + Command + F5 opens Accessibility shortcuts.
